The dual-camera power line monitoring system is a surveillance system specifically designed for high-voltage power lines. It integrates infrared imaging technology with visible-light camera technology, enabling round-the-clock monitoring of power lines under various environmental conditions. The dual-camera system uses infrared thermal imaging to detect potential hotspots along the lines, while the visible-light camera captures real-time images of the lines. The combination of these two technologies significantly enhances the comprehensiveness and accuracy of monitoring.
Traditional power line monitoring methods often fail to function effectively due to weather or lighting conditions, but the dual-lens camera overcomes this challenge. It provides clear surveillance footage in rainy or foggy conditions and even at night, ensuring that the safe operation of power lines remains unaffected by natural conditions. In addition, the camera’s remote monitoring and intelligent analysis capabilities significantly reduce the costs and risks associated with manual inspections, thereby improving operational and maintenance efficiency.
