II. Working Principle

Quantum-secure USB drives utilize quantum cryptography at their core, generating keys via quantum key sources and distributing them through secure distribution protocols. This eliminates the traditional requirement for fiber-optic channels in quantum key distribution, offering greater flexibility in key delivery. The drives incorporate embedded secure chips for key storage, preventing any unauthorized access to the keys and significantly enhancing key security.
